Let's get started off on the right foot.
We are here for you and yes, we can help.
We will MAKE time (even if we are busy) to listen and come up with a plan of action or just a few tips and tidbits to get you going on your way.
Here's what you need to do:
Step 1: Contact us. Use the form on the Contact Us page or shoot us an email. Either way we will respond within 24 hours. If we don't, you have our promise that we'll do something really nice for you…like feature you on our blog or throw some specialized links your way or give you an hour of free consulting.
Step 2: Determine your needs. Promise…this is painless. After we've taken a little time to talk about where you are right now in your online marketing endeavors and figured out where you want to go and any budgetary requirements, we can throw in our expertise about what's available and how we can help you grow.
Step 3: Ante Up. We will provide you with a made-to-order marketing agenda (based on what is proven to work in an online environment and our wealth of experience in this area).
Step 4: Pick and Choose. Make your selection from the agenda we provide: a. all of the above; b. some of the above; c. this, that or the other.
Step 5: Time to Shine. We get busy shining up your marketing and growing your business. We will be right there with you every step of the way - holding your hand and showing you exactly what we are doing and how we are doing it so YOU can actually take over when the project is complete.
Our job is to not only help grow your business but to teach you HOW so you will ultimately be one very empowered entrepreneur. Ok, enough said? Let's get busy!
This fun little site (yes…fun is OUR mantra) is a starter web site. The marketing plan is to get in and start blogging about yoga, generate TONS of copy using the correct search terms all the while having a great time talking about something that is LOVED by us (of course)!
But taking a step back, it is important to let you know that this is a brand new URL and if you read the Truly Twisted Marketing Blog you'll know it ALWAYS takes a little extra time for new URLs to rank in Google. So, now is THE time to set up the marketing goals and start to generate a search rank for various key search phrases with the ultimate goal being that when the whole beautiful yoga-ish marketing campaign is ready to launch (sometime next year) we are already one step ahead of the game.
Yeah…we have smarts and sometimes we use those marketing smarts in sneaky, unexpected ways to get a leg up.
*just a note, we always use the "good" kind of sneaky…never the bad…
Hannah Flanagan's Irish Pub needed a sleek, new, FUN look for their very, very (did I say very?) outdated web site.
Here's the scoop…they needed the functionality of an easy to use content management system for changes made on the fly plus they needed to harness the power of viral marketing via facebook, myspace and a blog. We used wordpress and upped the ante on their SEO with more content and targeted titles. We also changed the old boring tone of voice to something that speaks to their audience and a design that is hip, fun and totally reflects who they are as a business.
All in all…this was a two thumbs up!
Ahhhhhh…..we love being green and this site is near and dear to our hearts. This is a great example of excellent design with ecommerce (online shopping) functionality. Right out of the gate, this site ranked nicely - nice and high is how we like 'em. We used a combination of search engine marketing and built the site with our target audience and marketing goals in mind.
We pulled out our whole bag of marketing and design tricks for Carrier Point (Green Living) Condominiums.
This green condo development needed a brand to reflect the eco chic, modern, outdoorsy lifestyle that comes along with living at Carrier Point within the city limits of Asheville, NC. With strategic planning we came up with a targeted marketing campaign that included a design base that could be carried through all the marketing materials and TRULY reflected what Carrier Point is all about…cost-effective green living. And do we ever LOVE that idea!
While this campaign is ongoing, marketing materials to date include, logo design/development, double sided slick flyer, EXPO sign, property signage, web site design and development as well as business cards.
Sometimes it's best to start with the results and THEN get to the marketing task list so here goes…
Sales from this web site increased over 400%…yes, you heard correctly…sales more than quadrupled over a 2 1/2 year time-span due to our marketing efforts.
We do the happy dance every time we think about that little statistic.
What you should know…the advertising budget was pretty much non-existent. The growth of the site came from the high search rank for specific phrases combined with getting the products featured both online and offline in various publications and web sites. Creating and increasing the site's 'findability' was key to the increase in sales.
Here's the long list of what we did (no design work here, strictly marketing):
- Garnering number one search position in Google, MSN and Yahoo for specific keyword phrases – primarily through link building.
- Each and every category page ranks on the first page in Google, Yahoo, MSN – using unique title tags, header and custom created copy to pick up specific search phrase.
- Detailed keyword rich product descriptions so specific product pages rank extremely high in Google, MSN and Yahoo.
- In depth tracking using analytic s tools to calculate bounce rate, vistor path, exit pages, etc. to increase conversion on the site.
- Special Promotions/Incentives to buy
- Email marketing – creation of mail list by adding subscription information to the purchase page and giving users an opportunity to sign up
- Press Releases (digital press re leases/local press releases)
- Creation of buyer's guide area to establish this site as the expert in all things picnic related.
- Creation of Picnic Planning Guide as free giveaway with every purchase.
- Articles submitted to article dir ectories that were picked up and featured in blogs.
- Established relationships with journalist/editors of national and local publications to provide high resolution images and product samples for photo shoots and tv spots - Domino Magazine Daily Dot, American Way Magazine, Life & Style Weekly, Real Simple, Yogi Times, Breakfast Television, HGTV Mother's Day Product Spotlight, Fox News Product Spotlight, "O" At Home Magazine, Positive Thinking Magazine, NY Daily News, Better Homes and Garden - to name a few.
- Set up and management of googlebase datafeeds and msn live product datafeeds.
- Use of blog to direct traffic to site.
- Use of Social Media Sites and Shopping Wists - PopGloss, CribCandy, YumSugar, ThisNext, etc.
Here's the whole scoop on this ecommerce (Specialty Living) web site…
Results: Steady growth of site via increased traffic flow (visitors to the site) and sheer volume of products sold.
What you should know: The advertising budget was pretty much non-existent and the web site niche focus changed three times over the course of a two-year period. We were able to level out the navigation and page set up and the site is currently showing strong stable growth in search ranking as a niche water fountain site. This site is one of three owned by the same company.
